On Sunday, Sept. 29, the Goop founder, 52, posted an intimate photo onInstagramto celebrate her six-year wedding anniversary with Falchuk, 53.
In the snap, Paltrow and the writer and director — whobegan dating in August 2014— can be seen sharing a kiss while sitting on top of a multicolored paddle board in a body of water. The actress wore a black bikini for the outing, while her husband sported white swim trunks.
Paltrow captioned the post simply, “6.”
The nuptials featured “perfect weather, a superlative dinner, a dance party for the ages and a dress that defies adjectives,” per a recap shared onGoop’s websitein November 2018. “Hours later, when the last guest went home and the last champagne flute was cleared away, the day ended as it began — with beauty, love and two very happy people.”
Inan exclusive interviewwith PEOPLE in 2023, Paltrow shared that blending the pair’s families was not an easy feat. The Oscar-winning actress sharestwo children — Apple, 20, and Moses, 18— withColdplaysingerChris Martin, and Falchuk has two kids — Isabella, 20, and Brody, 17 — from a previous marriage.

“It’s hard, and it’s not intuitive, and nobody tells you how to do it. You just stick with it,” Paltrow said of merging their families. “Now it’s one of the things that brings me the most happiness in my life.”

On Tuesday, Sept. 24, the pair was photographedholding hands while in Parisfor Fashion Week. They coordinated in blue jeans and dark sunglasses for the outing.

Along with celebrating her latest wedding anniversary, Paltrow is jumping into a new acting project. She has joined the cast ofJosh Safdie’s upcoming movieMarty Supreme, starringTimothée Chalamet, marking her first major film role since starring in 2019’sAvengers: Endgame. Since then, she has taken on small roles, such as lending her voice to a 2023 episode of Falchuk’sAmerican Horror Storiesand an uncredited cameo in the 2022 biopicShe Said.
Paltrow previously said that she wasstepping away from actingto focus on her lifestyle brand.
“I’m still going to do a little bit here and there, but this really requires almost all of my time,” she toldTodayin 2017. “I had an incredible acting career, but I had this deep passion to produce content and make great products and curate things.”
