Gypsy-Rose Blanchard Says Ex Ryan Anderson Is ‘Still Not Out of the Picture’ Despite Completed Paternity Test (Exclusive)

“We’re still dealing with some things wrapped around the paternity, believe it or not, getting the paperwork finalized for that,” Blanchard tells PEOPLE.

“So it’s like I took the test before she was born, and I posted that Instagram that shut all the rumors of who the father was down, so it was clear, but then you have the court proceeding part of it, you have to follow up on,” she explains.

“And so that is currently what we are dealing with. So Ryan is not out of the picture yet,” adds Blanchard.

While she can’t say whether Ryan is still fighting for paternity, Blanchard admits it’s been stressful for her and Urker.

“It’s something we can’t manage, but it’ll be nice to have everything finalized and done so we can just all move on,” Blanchard says. “It’s probably going to be another couple months. It is a very long process.”

There was a chance that Anderson would be listed as the father on the infant’s birth certificate if he and Blanchard had not been divorced for 300 days at the time of the birth.

In December, Blanchardfinalized her divorcefrom Anderson after initially filing in April. The two were married for two years.
