Hilaria Baldwin Reveals Husband Alec Is 'Always Asking Me for More Kids' — But She Says 'My Body's Really Tired' (Exclusive)

Alec Baldwinis a father to eight children, which begs the question: Does he want any more?

Apparently so, according to his wife of 12 yearsHilaria Baldwin, who tells PEOPLE inthis week’s cover story, “He’s always asking me for more kids.”

“Don’t judge me,” Alec, 66, says to the reporter.

Alec and Hilaria, 41, are parents to seven kids: Carmen, 11, Rafael, 9, Leonardo, 8, Romeo, 6, Eduardo and Marilu, 4, and Ilaria, 2. The Emmy-winning30 Rockactor also shares hisoldest daughter, Ireland, 29, with ex-wifeKim Basinger, 71. Irelandmade him a proud grandfather in 2023.

“They’re so cute,” Hilaria concedes, “But my body’s really tired.”

Alec, Hilaria and their adorable brood are at the center of the newTLC reality seriesThe Baldwins, which premieres Feb. 23. “Seven children, six animals and two parents… wild family,” Hilaria says in the trailer for the show, which also tracks Alec’s legal drama over the accidental shooting on the set of his movieRust.

As the couple shares with PEOPLE, their children have always remained their focus and a source of happiness. “I always joke with her and say, ‘You know where I should be right now, don’t you? We should be on Geffen’s yacht, drinking a cappuccino and reading a book, and having dinner with Spielberg or whatever,’ ” Alec says. Hilaria interjects: “Instead we’re changing diapers!”

Which is just the way they like it. “This is my reality,” Alec says, reflecting on their family dynamic. “I wouldn’t change anything,”

Days after Ilaria’s birth in 2022, Alec reflected on welcoming the newest addition to their family during a year where “my heart has been broken a thousand times,” hewrote in an Instagram tributeto Hilaria and their kids.

“These kids. All of them born in 212. Same hospital,” he captioned a set of photos of his sons on Instagram. “First four in the same room. Last three in the same, but different room.”

“Lots of changes coming. But my family has kept me alive,” he continued. “They are my reason for living. And @hilariabaldwin, too.”

The Baldwinspremieres on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 10 p.m. E.T. on TLC.
