Hugh Jackman Sings 'Valjean's Soliloquy' fromLes Misérableswith Full Orchestra Ahead of First Radio City Concert

Hugh Jackmanis making final preparations for his upcomingRadio City Music Hall concert series.

Jackman famously portrayedLes Misérableslead Jean Valjean in the 2012 film adaptation of the acclaimed musical. He costarred withRussell Crowe,who portrayed antagonist Javert,Anne Hathaway, who won an Oscar for performance,Amanda Seyfried,Eddie Redmayne,Helena Bonham CarterandSacha Baron Cohen, among others.

TheDeadpool & Wolverineactor is set to take his musical talents to New York City’s Radio City Music Hall throughout 2025. He announced 12 concert dates at the venue in October 2024. The concert series, titledFrom New York, with Love, kicks off with performances on Friday, Jan. 24 and Saturday, Jan. 25. Jackman will also grace the Radio City stage for shows in April, May, June, July and August.

The actor has shared a number of behind-the-scenes photos and videos from rehearsals for the concert series in recent weeks. On Jan. 18, Jackman shared a photo of himselfseemingly performing a dance routinewith choreographers and dancers Ashley Wallen and Mishay Petronelli in a rehearsal studio to mark one week beforeFrom New York, with Love’s opening night.On Dec. 20, Jackman shared additional rehearsal footage that featured him performing “Ya Got Trouble” fromThe Music Manas composerPatrick Vaccarielloplayed the piano. “Seems like this one has to come with us to @radiocitymusichall,” he captioned that post.

Jackman’s concert series comes after he andRyan Reynoldsdominated the box office in 2024 withDeadpool & Wolverine, which featured their popular Marvel characters' first onscreen meeting since 2009’sX-Men Origins: Wolverine.

The actor also recentlycompleted filming for an upcoming movie titledSong Sung BluewithKate Hudson; they portray a real-life married couple who formed aNeil Diamondtribute band called Lightning & Thunder. That film does not yet have a release date.
