Hunter King’s wedding plans may be “nonexistent” right now, but she still can’t wait to say “I do!”
During the red carpet premiere of her Hallmark movie,Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, on Nov. 30 at the Sheraton Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri, King revealed that she and her filmmaker fiancé Chris Copier are looking forward to their big day.
The bride-to-beannounced her engagementto Copier in October. “We haven’t set a wedding date, but we’re hoping to get married next year if we can find the right venue,” King tells PEOPLE. “So maybe, yeah, maybe just a little wedding.”

Adds King: “You can’t be filming six movies when you’re the best man,” as Hynes quips, “I’m going to have to take the whole year off, just to prep for the wedding.”
King and Hynes matched the red carpet with festive outfits. For his part, Hynes opted for black trousers with a velvet blazer over a matching burgundy undershirt. Meanwhile, King wore bright red from head to toe, choosing to pair a floral long-sleeve blouse with belted high-waisted pants. She paired the look with red nails, red lipstick and a bedazzled football handbag.
As for nailing down details for their nuptials, the actress admits they aren’t very far along.
“We haven’t really had any time to wedding plan yet,” King tells PEOPLE.

Even though her and Copier’s wedding plans are “nonexistent at the moment,” they have a few ideas for their big day.
“We know it’ll be somewhere far away and tiny,” King says. “Yeah, that’s about all the details I have as of right now.”
For now, it’s unclear if the actress will follow in the footsteps of her sisters, Kelli andJoey, who both hadintimate destination weddingsin Europe.

King notes that there’s “an arsenal” of Hallmark movies that she could pull inspiration from. “A mood board, just using Hallmark weddings,” she says. “That’s actually a really good idea.”
Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Storymade its debut on Nov. 30 as part of Hallmark Channel’s 15th annual Countdown to Christmas. King and Hynes star as the lead characters, Alana and Derrick, while King’s fiancé is an assistant director for the film.
