As someone who’s 5’1” and curvy, finding virtually any type of clothing is a process. For instance, withpants, if they fit me well in the hips, I’m usually tripping over their length — and when I find a pair with a short inseam, they’re rarely available in my size. Simply put, it’s exhausting.
That’s why I frequently search for cropped styles — because what looks cropped on people 5’4” and taller wears regularly on me. And this current best-selling, buttery-softsweatshirtandlounge pantsset is no exception. If anything, it’s the epitome of comfortable loungewear, and I’ve been living in it.

As a fashion writer,I’ve been closely eyeing the Scoop line for months. It’s one of the most popular clothing brands at Walmart, as they offer a plethora of luxe pieces for affordable prices, including formal, business casual, and loungewear looks. So when I spotted these top-rated cropped lounge pants and noticed they’re trending, I knew I had to get them.
Walmart sent me thecropped lounge pantsandfunnel neck sweatshirtto try, and it’s the comfiest, most flattering set I own. It feels like silk and a warm hug every time I put it on. The hoodie is non-restricting and easy to pull over, and the stretchy lounge pants never dig into my stomach. I usually wear it indoors, but I’ve also worn it on coffee dates and to run errands. One shopper said they wore the set to an upscale restaurant for lunch and it looked great, while another shared that they think the soft and comfy set is worth every penny and can easily be dressed up.

Petite shoppers also praise the set’s cropped pants, saying that they’re perfect for their short legs and the ideal length to pair with sneakers. People also compared the pants to high-end versions from brands like Lululemon and Spanx, which cost upwards of $100.
And the matching funnel neck sweatshirt receives lots of love — one shopper called it their best purchase ever, noting that they’ve bought it in three different colors and adding that the fabric is fluid, soft, comfortable, and not at all restrictive. Another shopper shared that they typically fly wearing a $220 set but said this one is the most comfortable travel outfit they’ve worn.
Given how much I love this set, I’m absolutely going to check out more ofWalmart’s soft loungewear, including any styles with short inseams and fromScoop’s luxuriously soft line. Browse other comfy,plus-sizeandpetite shopper-approvedstyles from just $9 below.
