Rochell, 29, announced his retirement from the NFL during an interview with his wife,Allison Kuch– whose real name is Allison Kucharczyk – on her podcast,Sunday Sports Club,on Feb. 2.
“I’m retiring,” Rochell confirmed, adding that he’s “super happy to be done” with competing after playing seven seasons in the NFL. “I had a great career. It was actually really fun.”
“I just feel really accomplished when it comes to football, so now I’m excited to be done,” he shared.

Kuch, who sharesdaughter Scottie Beewith Rochell, gushed over how proud she is of her husband’s career in the NFL and said she was getting “teary eyed” as he made the announcement.
“We tried recording this episode once before, and I started crying in the beginning,” Kuch admitted.

The social media star said she was “so incredibly proud” of Rochell “because the average career in the NFL is two and a half years, and so many guys don’t even make it to that.”

“So, seven years is f—ing insane and something to be so proud of,” said Kuch, who reflected on how important football has been in their lives. “All of our memories over the past 10 years of our entire relationship, football has been at the heart of,” she continued.
“There’s been so many ups, so many downs, and our life has truly revolved around the sport of football…And just when I look back, I’m so proud and I’m so thankful for all the memories that the NFL gave us.”
Kuch and Rochellmet at a house partywhen they were college students and dated long distance for years while Kuch finished school and Rochell pursued his NFL dreams.
They secretly eloped in December 2020 before they held an official ceremony in April 2021.

“For us, it’s about taking advantage of the time. If someone told me, ‘Hey, you’re not going to be signed,’ the worst-case scenario would be getting to spend a lot of time with her. We’re learning every day. I don’t have a perfect answer; it really is day-to-day. How can we learn to be present and enjoy today?”
