Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya's Relationship: All About the Tennis Stars' Romance

Jannik Sinner, the Italian tennis player who currently stands as thehighest-rankedsingles player in the nation’s history, has a lot in common with his girlfriend, Anna Kalinskaya.

While the couple have decided to keep their relationship quiet, Sinner confirmed their romance in May 2024, and the pair were seen supporting one another at Wimbledon a few months later.

In June of the same year, Sinner opened up toVanity Fair Italiaabout the pressures of having a girlfriend and being at the top of his tennis game.

“Of course, it’s not easy, I travel a lot and during tournaments, I’m very focused. But I think it’s a beautiful thing when you find the right love. Like for everyone,” he said. “And then, if you think about it, the best tennis players in the world all have wives and children.”

Sinner went on to win the US Open in September 2024 — and Kalinskaya was in the audience. The pair shared a sweet kiss in the stands following his major victory.

Sinner publicly confirmed his relationship with Kalinskaya in May 2024

During the French Open in May 2024, Sinner confirmed his relationship with Kalinskaya, as they had been spotted supporting one another during their matches.

PerTennis.com, Skinner clarified during a press conference: “Yes, I’m with Anna, but we keep everything very confidential. I won’t say more."

They are very private

In addition to clarifying his relationship with Kalinskaya at the French Open, Sinner added, “You know, I don’t like to talk much about my private life.”

But it’s not just romantic relationships he keeps private. In June 2024, the top player explained the reasoning behind his privacy toVanity Fair Italia.

“I want to protect the people closest to me, keeping them out of this,” he told the publication, referring to his fame. “I see it as a small task to carry out, almost a duty: they helped me, when I was young, to gain self-confidence, and today in some way I want to protect them.”

They support one another at their matches

Sinner and Kalinskaya don’t shy away from supporting each other at tennis tournaments.

In July 2024, the Italian tennis star was spotted cheering his girlfriend on at Wimbledon. Kalinskaya returned the favor in September 2024 when she watched Sinner win the US Open.

Sinner gave Kalinskaya a shout-out at the Halle Open

Upon his win at the 2024 Halle Open in Germany, Sinner took a moment to congratulate his girlfriend’s week of tennis matches, despite her eventual loss.

“My girlfriend Anna, she played in Berlin today. She lost with six match points, so, I am very sorry for her. But, she also had an amazing week,” he said, perTennis365.

They have both had public relationships in the past

Prior to his relationship with Kalinskaya, Sinner was romantically linked to Maria Braccini, an Italian model. Meanwhile, Kalinskaya was involved with Nick Kyrgios, a fellow tennis player, from 2019 to 2020.

Kyrgios has been openly critical of Sinner — especially after the tennis player tested positive (twice) for a banned substance in August 2024, per theNew York Post.

Skinner and Kalinskaya keep each other smiling

Despite Sinner and Kalinskaya’s desire to keep their personal lives outside of the limelight, they are often pictured smiling with one another at their matches.

In preparation for Wimbledon, the tennis power couple were seen training together. And it wasn’t all tough competition – Sinner and Kalinskaya were seen laughing and smiling, likely easing one another’s nerves before the major tournament.
