Jenn Tranisn’t going home empty handed fromDancing with the Stars.

The Bachelorettealum, 26, shared with PEOPLE after her elimination on the “Halloween Nightmares” episode Tuesday, Oct. 29, that she is taking away so much from the experience despite not making it to the final.

“We weren’t even supposed to be on the show this season,” she continues. “So I’m just so happy.”

Tran also said she will be taking away “great memories” from being on the set and practicing her dances with Farber, 40, each week, noting she has come a long way with her dancing skills.

“Every day rehearsal is such a blessing and we got to have so much fun together, and it’s just been an incredible, incredible journey and I’m just so proud and happy,” Tran tells PEOPLE, with Farber adding that he’s “so happy” as well.

Tran went on to explain that “it’s not about winning at the end of the day,” but “it’s about the experience” and the dancing duo has made “so many amazing memories” that they will be taking with them off the set.

In the video, Tran jokingly referred to the outing as a “date,” explaining to her followers that getting filmed doing activities in public reminded her of her time onThe Bachelorette.

”We trust each other so much. We know each other so well. So that’s why this works so well,” she added.

Tran previously ended her engagement toDevin Straderfollowing the conclusion ofThe Bacheloretteand teased a reunion with one of her former suitors,fan-favorite Jonathon Johnson. As for Farber, he was previously married to hisDWTScostarEmma Slater.

Dancing with the Starsairs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+ and streams the next day on Hulu and Disney+.
