Jenna Jameson Files for Divorce From Wife Jessi Lawless After Nearly 2 Years of Marriage

The filing does not note the reason for their split, but shows the former couplemarried on May 22, 2023in Las Vegas.

“She tried to rekindle the relationship multiple times but I was unwilling to entertain her advances,” Lawless said in a statement to PEOPLE on Friday. “She moved around several times staying with a friend in Chicago and then with another friend in California and then she was in Las Vegas for a little while, but she was hard to keep up with so getting her served was challenging.”

Ahead of their breakup, Lawlessfiled for an annulmentin April 2024 after less than a year of marriage to the former adult film star.

“It’s done,” the TikTok star captioned a since-deleted video posted to social media.

“There are a lot of rumors going around that Jenna and I are getting a divorce. And I’m making this video to confirm that,” Lawless said at the time.

Thursday’s filing stated that neither Lawless nor Jameson were pregnant, there was no community debt to divide and no spousal support was requested.

Additionally, she is asking that the court allow her to keep “multiple luxury handbags,” such as Louis Vuitton and Chanel bags, jewelry, which includes a “Jewish faith necklace, Cartier band [and] my fathers necklace and pendant.” She also asked that personal paintings and clothing not be divided.

Speaking exclusively to PEOPLEone month after their wedding, Jameson said Lawless added balance to her life.

“I’m kind of balls to the wall and I ride the wave of my emotions,” she said. “I don’t care, I just want what I want. And Jessi is very reserved and she thinks everything through, and so it’s a good mesh for sure. She grounds me and I set a fire under her ass.”

Jameson did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
