Jennifer Lopez Is All Smiles Returning to LA After Show-Stopping Toronto Appearance Without Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopezis all smiles as she returns to Los Angeles after theToronto Film Festival.

The 55-year-old superstar was spotted stepping off her private jet in L.A. on Sunday, Sept. 8, looking cozy in a cropped white tank top that showed off her toned midsection. She paired the top with low-waisted gray sweatpants and slung a matching gray sweatshirt around her shoulders.

Lopez appeared to be wearing no makeup and had her hair styled into a messy top knot. She added a pair of dark sunglasses and carried a cell phone.

Two days earlier, the singer and actress attended the TIFF premiere of her new filmUnstoppable, marking her first major public appearancesince her splitfrom husbandBen Affleck. On Aug. 20,Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck, 52, after two years of marriage.

On the red carpet, the star turned heads ina floor-length silver Tamara Ralph dresswith high splits up both sides, tied together with oversized black velvet bows and revealing her side boob. She accessorized with a matching metallic Judith Leiber clutch and Dolce and Gabbana platform high heels, and Hassanzadeh jewelry. Her long hair was straightened and parted down the middle.

Unstoppablefollows the real-life story of wrestlerAnthony Robles, who was born with one leg. In addition to portraying Anthony’s mother, Judy, Lopez also co-produced the biopic with Affleck under his andMatt Damon’s production company Artists Equity.

Affleck wasn’t in attendance but a source told PEOPLE that Lopez and Damon, 53, had a"long, deep conversation"at the premiere’s afterparty.

The insider says Lopez was sitting at a table outside with the actor’s wifeLuciana Damonand costarDon Cheadlewhen Damon joined them. They added that they laughed, before speaking more seriously for several minutes and clasped hands as they spoke.

At the time of Lopez’s divorce filing, aninsider told PEOPLE, “She tried really hard to make things work, and is heartbroken. The kids are a top priority, as they always have been.”

Lopez and Affleck tied the knot in Las Vegas on July 17, 2022, after rekindling their romance in 2021. They had a second wedding with their family and friends in Georgia in August 2022.
