Affleck, 52, proposed to Lopez, 53,with an 8.5-carat green diamond engagement ring after theyrekindled their romancein 2021. Theymarried in an intimate Las Vegas ceremonyin July 2022 and celebrated their nuptials with aceremony in Georgiain front of friends and family the next month.

At the time of the engagement, Lopez shared in her newsletter that the diamond’s green color was significant to her. “Green has always been my lucky color and now, for sure, it always will be.”

A diamond expert previously told PEOPLE at the time that natural green diamonds are “extremely rare," adding, “Green diamonds among the most difficult to cut and a diamond like this could have taken a year or more to plan and cut to ensure that it reflects the best cut and color possible.” The expert said that the value of the gem will “significantly increase over time.”

Before the former couple rekindled their relationship, the two were previously engaged in 2004. (At the time, Affleck proposed with a6-carat radiant-cut pink diamond ringfrom Harry Winston.)
