Justin Bieber and Wife Hailey Kept a Special Family Tradition with New Baby’s Name

Justin BieberandHailey Baldwin Bieberare keeping their family name alive!

The family tradition of naming their son with the initials ‘JB’ is one that has continued in Justin’s side of the family for a couple of generations now, as the singer has the same initials, along with his dad,Jeremy Bieber, and some of hissiblings.

Justin’s half-sister Jazmyn Bieber, 16, and half-brother, Jaxon Bieber, 14, also have the same initials. Both siblings are the children of Jeremy and his ex Erin Wagner.

The singer also named his son Jack after his father’s middle name in another sentimental tribute.

Justin’s dad Jeremy and momPattie Mallette, split a few months before he was born in 1994.

After announcing the arrival of his son, Justin’s mom Pattietweeted, “CONGRATULATIONS @justinbieber & Hailey. I LOVE YOU FOREVER BABY JACK!!”

Hailey’s dad, Stephen Baldwin,reshared Mallette’s tweet, adding, “Amen, Congratulations to you and may God continue to bless our family.”

Justin and Hailey revealed they wereexpecting a child togetherin May. A rep for Hailley confirmed to PEOPLE that the model was just over six months pregnant at the time of the announcement.

The couple first tied the knotin a New York City courthousein September 2018. The pair then celebrated with alarger ceremonywith family and friends, in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Speaking toW Magazinein a recent interview, Hailey saidkeeping her pregnancy under wrapscame with emotional challenges. “I probably could have hid it until the end,” the supermodel told the outlet.

Hailey added that she  “didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly” and “I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good … I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
