Kate Hudsonsays a reality show following her famous family is a no-go.
“It’ll never happen,” Kate said.
“Listen, my dad, he’s just too cool. He’d rather just be in Colorado just being dad… Snake Plissken doesn’t do reality,” she added, referencing Kurt’s character in the moviesEscape from New YorkandEscape from L.A.

While a reality show appears to be out of the question for her family, Kate still let her loved ones in on her latest project, in which she plays Isla Gordon, a woman who is unexpectedly appointed to run her family’s professional basketball franchise, the Los Angeles Waves.Brenda Songstars as the team’s chief of staff and Isla’s best friend.
As Song, 36, revealed on Kate and Oliver’s podcast,Sibling Revelry, Kate even introduced her to their famous mother. “Oliver, you don’t understand. Kate knows this: Sometimes I’d be in a scene and I’d be like, ‘I’m doing a scene with Kate Hudson. What is my life?’ " the former Disney Channel star said.
Song added that she eventually met Hawn, 79, via FaceTime, which she called “one of the craziest moments.”
“Kate was FaceTiming, and she was like, ‘Oh, wait … Mama, I want you to meet Brenda, who plays my best friend [onRunning Point],’ " she recalled. “I was like — I needed a second before I get on a FaceTime with Goldie freaking Hawn. Don’t put me on the spot like this.”
