Kehlani's Daughter Adeya Wants to Meet Bluey on the 2025 Grammys Red Carpet (Exclusive)

Kehlani’s daughterAdeya Nomi Parrish Young-Whiteknows exactly who she wants to meet at the2025 Grammys.

The artist, who uses she/her and they/them pronouns,welcomed her first childwith guitarist Javie Young-White in March 2019.

“It’s really a cool thing for us to be able to do together,” the “Nights Like This” hitmaker tells PEOPLE of walking the carpet with Adeya. The mother-daughter duo both wore coordinating black gowns to the event.

Kehlani adds, “I’m excited for her, whoever she’s excited about.”

However, the “Distraction” singer admits a certainAustralian Heeler dogwould likely be more appealing to the 5-year-old than most of the celebrities in attendance at the 2025 Grammys.

“I genuinely would be shocked if she can remember names because she would rather see a cartoon character,” Kehlani tells PEOPLE. “If she could meet Bluey tonight, she would wanna meet Bluey.”

And Adeya isn’t the only one who loves Bluey!

According to a recent Nielsen report, the beloved cartoon topped the list ofthe most streamed shows of 2024with 55.62 billion minutes of watch time on Disney+.

Kehlani also tells PEOPLE about her after-show plans, which she expects will be pretty laid back.

“Honestly, I’m less of a party and more of a dive bar kind of person,” the “Gangsta” singer says.

“So catch me at your local bar, with my friends. I might go play some pool. We’ll see, we’ll see what goes on. I mean, unless I get an invite to somewhere cool, but those things make me nervous so we’ll see.”
