Kelsea Ballerini Says She 'Can't F---ing Breathe' in Her Minidress with Cone Cups at the 2025 Grammys

Kelsea Ballerini’s suffer for fashion at the 2025Grammy Awards.

For her return to music’s biggest night, the singer arrived at the ceremony looking like a ’90s supermodel.

Ballerini, who is nominated for best country duo/group performance with Noah Khan for “Cowboys Cry Too,” channeled vintage glam in a plunging Tamara Ralph Haute Couture black minidress with skin-baring cone cups and a low-dipping neckline.

Her stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn complemented the embellished design with a floor-sweeping cape that Ballerini wore off the shoulder and two Jared Atelier rings (oneflower-shapedand one amarquise-cut design) as well asearringsfrom the brand and Christian Louboutin heels.

In abehind-the-scenes videoshared to Zanna Roberts Rassi’s Instagram, Ballerini can be heard saying she “can’t f—ing breathe” in the dress.

HairstylistKelsey Deenihanstyled the “If You Go Down” singer’s locks in luscious waves parted to the side while her makeup was sun-kissed to perfection with just the right amount of bronzer and a glossy peach lip.

Ballerini — who released her fifth studio album,Patterns, in October 2024 — has previously attended the Grammys solo and is a five-time nominee. In previous years, she’s been nominated for best new artist, best country album (Unapologetically), best country solo performance (“Heartfirst”) and best country album (Rolling Up the Welcome Mat).

With a handful of nominations on her belt, Ballerini has become a regular at the ceremony, stealing the show with her looks time after time.

While she missed the red carpet last year due to the weather, fans caught of glimpse at the country star’s sexyfloral Vera Wang gown, which featured sheer panels on her butt, as she posed for photos with attendees, includingTaylor Swift, inside. In 2023, she paid homage to her albumSubject to Changein ayellow Prabal Gurung halter dresswith Brilliant Earth jewels.

Ballerini and Stokes made multiple public appearances last year, their most major one being at the2024 Met Gala.

The two, who celebrated theirtwo-year dating anniversarythis January, made their debut at the sartorial event in Michael Kors collection. She wore a couture nude design speckled with orange, pink and yellow flower-like embellishments all over it. He dazzled in a black sequin suit, which he went topless under.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE ahead of the big night, Stokes revealed how he found out about their invite.

“I had just flown from Morocco to Atlanta to do re-shoots for a movie with Netflix. It was a 26-hour travel day. I worked all day and then I had the next morning to do something. I was on the way to the aquarium with my girlfriend and we got the call. I was like, ‘Oh my God, we’re going to the Met.’”

Ballerini and Stokes also brought their romance to the 2024 CMA Awards,People’s Choice Country Awardsand evenHeidi Klum’s annual Halloween partydressed as Sandy Olsson and Danny Zuko.

In PEOPLE’s April 2024 edition ofPEOPLE in 10, Stokes gushed over Ballerini. “She is just the mostgenuine human beingyou will meet,” he shared. “She has time for everybody, which is such an admirable trait.”

TheValiant Onestar is also not afraid to show his adoration at Ballerini’s concerts and is definitely her number one fan when it comes to singing her songs and cheering her on. On Oct. 29, 2024 he attended her sold-out show at Madison Square Garden and after shared a heartfelt Instagram post showing how proud he was of his girl.

“To make a record your way, with your people, and sell out the most famous arena in the world, made my heart explode out of my chest, and a little water out of my eyeballs,” he wrote,

“I’m so proud to be in your corner, to be on your team, and be your partner on this journey of life. I love you, I’m so proud of you.”
