Kevin and Danielle Jonasmight have the makings of a Jonas Sisters band on their hands.
“I actually heard Valentina [singing],” Danielle says after playfully denying that she and Kevin ever sing duets.“You don’t want to hear that," she jokes.
“I couldn’t believe what came out of her the other day,” she continues of the 8-year-old. “I was kind of shocked. I’m like, ‘Did you hear?’ I mean, I don’t know notes, but, ‘Did you hear that?’”
While Kevin agrees that Valentina has “really good pitch,” he’s not rushing for his daughters to get into showbiz anytime soon.

“I ain’t going to push them,” he explains. “If they want it, they want it. I’m not going to push them.”
“That’s a whole other thing,” he continues of the idea of a new generation of a Jonas family band. “As a girl dad, I don’t know if I can get behind that. I’ll support them like our parents did for us.”
As the family of four gears up for the holiday season, Kevin and Danielle have partnered with Lowe’s for all of their decorating and gifting needs. In addition to their Christmas tree, which has been up in the Jonas household since the Sunday after Thanksgiving, the couple says cookies play a big part in their holiday traditions.

“There’s two,” Kevin says. “There’s a pumpkin cookie that we grew up with my mom making and now Danielle makes them. My mom was like, ‘Go ahead, just make [them,]’ because she makes them incredibly well. And then [a cookie] called an Italian Knot. It’s kind of like a white cookie with the glaze on it. That’s the best.”
Though what makes the season extra special, Kevin explains, is the time he’s able to spend at home in New Jersey now that he and his brothers have some downtime ahead of theJonas Brothers’ 20th-anniversary festivities next year.

“I think the magic is really just figuring out ways to spend little moments together,” Kevin says. “…we’ve been so busy on this tour for like what, two years, a year-and-a-half now, that we finally wrapped and we’re getting ready for what’s coming next year — which is even more and bigger and whatever — and so it’s great, but it’s nice to just be home.”
While Kevin admits he can’t share much about what’s in store for the anniversary, he says, “It would never just be a celebration of the past — it’ll always be looking towards the future” which includes new music.
“I can tell you that it is the 20-year anniversary of the band, which is making me feel two things,” he says. “One, very excited and also feel very old. But it’s encouraging because I know it’s been a long journey.”
