Lana Condor Wanted to ‘Spice’ Things Up for NYFW So She Cut Her Bangs Right Before a Show (Exclusive)

ForLana Condor, Fashion Week is also about taking bold beauty risks.

TheToAll the Boys I’ve Loved Before actress, 27, has been booked and busy attending the buzziest sartorial events in New York, and before taking her seat at the Tory Burch Fall/Winter 2025 fashion show, hosted at the Museum of Modern Art on Feb. 10, she chatted with PEOPLE about her new hairstyle: bangs.

“I have bangs! I have what we’re calling a long wolf cut [the layered hairstyle that has dominated online beauty trends in recent years]. It’s Tory Burch. We’re just trying to spice it up for her. So, we did a change and I’m so happy,” Condor said of her new look, which she admitted was donerightbefore she stepped out for the show.

She was last seen at the Alice + Olivia presentation on Feb. 8 without bangs, but rocking crimped waves.

Condor was among the stars attending Tory Burch’s latest presentation. Sitting front row were also Amanda Seyfried, Alexandra Daddario, Martha Stewart, Lola Tung, Jodie Turner-Smith and Chloe Fineman.

Of course, theValiantOnestar dressed for the occasion, going for an effortlessly cool outfit featuring a quilted wool and silk jacket, gray trousers and pumps to match her new hair.

A spontaneous hair change isn’t the only thing that’s making Condor glow these days.

While speaking with PEOPLE, shegushed over married lifesince wedding actor-musicianAnthony De La Torrelast October.

“It’s so great. I’m still getting used to calling him my husband, but it’s so much fun and I love him very much. I’m very happy.

The couple, who met at an Emmys afterparty in 2015 and announced their engagement in January 2022, tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at the Serra Retreat center in Malibu, Calif. asVoguereported in a feature on the pair’s nuptials published on Nov. 1.

“A little over two years ago, I took my mom and bridesmaids to Vera Wang to go dress-shopping. My mom and I absolutely fell in love with my wedding gown the moment I tried it on and I am so grateful I got to share that experience with her,” Condor shared. “That was the only time she was able to see me in my dress and I will hold that memory in my heart forever.”

To commemorate their relationship milestone, Condor and De La Torre got matching tattoos of their wedding date on their arms.
