Lance Bass Teaches Son “Bye, Bye, Bye” Dance 25 Years After It Debuted

Lance Bassis celebrating 25 years of “Bye, Bye, Bye” — and he’s sharing the song’s legacy with his son!

In a clip posted onInstagramon Friday, Jan. 17, the former *NSYNC member — who is dad to 3-year-old twinsAlexander and Violet— can be seen cradling Alexander in his lap while they watch the “Bye, Bye, Bye” music video on a screen positioned off-camera.

Alexander then repeats the famous lyrics, only this time he mimics the iconic hand gesture from the video.

“In honor of Bye Bye Bye’s 25th anniversary,” Lance captioned the post.

“Sir I think you meant all of us are 25 years old lol 😂. I can dream! But seriously where did the time go???” one person wrote.

“No I’m still only 20 it has not been 25 years,” another joked.

Lance welcomed his twins with husbandMichael Turchinin 2021 via a surrogate. The couple wed in 2014 after three years of dating, and they often share updates and behind-the-scenes snaps of their family life.

Lance opened about his parenthood experience in anexclusive interview with PEOPLEin March 2024, describing being a dad as “just the most rewarding thing ever.”

“I feel like every day is a different milestone, and it is just incredible,” the pop star said. “They’re in school now, which I think is really insane — they’re little people now.”

“They can communicate with you. You’re having these conversations, and it’s just so surreal to think just two years ago, which seems like yesterday, they were just little blobs on the couch and couldn’t do anything,” he added.

In his Jan. 17 “Bye, Bye, Bye” tribute, Lance also shared an update on Evele, a new social media app he’s co-developing that is designed to help promotemental healthand safe online communities.
