Lauren Sánchez Shares Valentine’s Day Post of Fiancé Jeff Bezos Working

Lauren Sánchezchose an untraditional photo to wish her fiancéJeff Bezosa Happy Valentine’s Day.

Rather than posting a couples' pic like many others, the journalist turned author, 55, uploaded a pic of the Amazon Founder, 61, alone at work in his office.

“Happy Valentine’s Day my love,” Sánchez wrote on the black and white photo.

Earlier on Friday, she posted a more traditional Valentine’s Day pic of heart-shaped candies in a cup that read “love me” and “let’s hang.”

“I just love that he is still working from one of the first desks that have been around since the beginning (see next slide),” Sánchez wrote at the time. “This is where countless hours of hard work meet the heart of Day one. Here’s to the endless pursuit of what’s possible. ❤️”

Her post comes a month after they celebrated the successful launch ofBlue Origin’s New Glenn rocket. Sánchez reflected on the milestone in a sweet Instagram post, which included an image of the couple sharing an embrace.

“Thinking about these moments at the launch. From intense focus, topure joy, to that incredible moment New Glenn lit up the sky,” she captioned the post. “CONGRATULATIONS to the entire Blue team .. what a first launch 🚀💙.”

The month prior, Bezos celebrated his fiancée’s birthday witha sweet tributein honor of her turning 55. In the post, he celebrated her “incredible year,” which included finding success as a children’s book author withThe Fly Who Flew to Space.

PEOPLE first confirmed that Bezos and Sánchezwere dating in January 2019, and the couplegot engagedin May 2023. The couple hasn’t shared many details publicly about their upcoming nuptials. Sanchez shared in a recent appearance on theToday showthat she has been usingPinterestto figure out what she wants for the ceremony.

“I’m just like every other bride,” she said, adding that she’s thinking about the dress.

The couple is used to attending several glamorous galas and events, but when it comes to their home life, Sanchez has admitted to PEOPLE that she likes it simple. She said that she loves it the most when the pair are doing mundane things at home.

“My favorite time is when the house is calm and quiet and Jeff and I are deciding what show we’re going to binge that night,” she said while promoting her first children’s book,The Fly Who Flew to Space.
