“I’m going to put it to you like this: What if you were a professional actor, and your child decided they wanted to do something in this world?” Schreiber asked. “Do they have a choice of what you did?”
The actor said it “doesn’t matter” what he does and that Kai should be able to do what she wants to do.
“That’s her life. She does what she wants with her life, and I’m super proud of her,” he said. “I thought she did an amazing job in the show.”

Appearing onLive with Kelly and Marklast April, Schreiber shared, “They’re amazing. Sasha and Kai, you know them.”
“I just talked to Sasha, who’s up at this terrific school in Vermont called The Mountain School, where he’s taking care of animals, and he just said that he’s bummed out because he’s missing being with her,” he told Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos of his kids.
“And it’s just, so sweet. My god. Such a sweetheart. And he did this little film for his class that he just sent me last night which was a short film. He made an adaptation of Doris Lessing’sThrough the Tunnel, which is basically about a kid who doesn’t want to grow up because he loves being a kid so much.”
“You know when your kids do things like that that just…you know, because they’re such monsters 99% of the time. And then they do something so profoundly sweet and you’re just like, ‘Wow,’ " the star joked.
