While season 5 ofThe Real Housewives of Salt Lake Cityshows Barlow being called a “villain,” she disagrees. The reality personality spoke with PEOPLE at the 2024Bravo Fan Feston Nov. 23 and explained why she thinks some of her costars have given her that label.

“I don’t feel like I’m a villain,” she says. “I think for people that are very insecure and people that aren’t resolute in how they feel or confident in what they’re saying and doing, I think it would be hard for them to be around someone like me. So maybe I’m a villain to them. But I think it’s villainous to label your friends — try and make up narratives for them. That’s villainous to me.”

“She doesn’t care about anything else other than being right,” Rose said on an episode ofThe Viall Files. “Lisa’s always been the villain.”

“The way that Lisa is calling me a liar over how I feel is narcissist 101,” Rose said in her confessional, noting what she said on the podcast was just her opinion.

“I think that if I’m not kissing every part of your a–hole, I’m not a good enough friend for you,” she then told Barlow.

As the other women began to chime in and take sides, both Barlow and Rose grew angrier, leading Barlow to throw her glass on the ground beside her.

“You want me to be your villain, I’ll be your villain,” Barlow said.

The feud has continued through the season, with Barlow eventhreatening to sue Rosefor defamation after Rose accused Barlow of leaking rumors to an Instagram gossip account.

“Whitney’s accusing me of something I didn’t do, so I want you to get the police involved because it’s my character,” Barlow told her security. “I want you to get the police involved and go the distance on this. Get the LA police involved, everything, and the Salt Lake police.”

“Every time I think we’re friends, you f–– up,” she said to Rose before she walked away.
