Madonna Shares Treasure Trove of Personal Photos and Video as Son Rocco Turns 24

On Saturday, Aug. 11, the star’s sonRocco Ritchie, whom she shares with exGuy Ritchie, turned 24, and Madonna, 65, shared a sweetInstagram postcommemorating the occasion — complete with 20 photos and videos of him throughout the years.

Throughout the rest of the post, she also documented the many eras of Rocco — from buzzcuts to pigtails — plus some of the art he has created, including a painted portrait of his pop star mother.

She ended the post with a more recent shot of herself and Rocco on a boat and, in the caption, added a heartfelt birthday message.

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROCCO— the long and Winding Road through all your many moods and incarnations has been tumultuous and full of surprises,” Madonna wrote. “But through it all —your curiosity, and Artistic Soul has been the glue that held us together.”

The “Material Girl” singer most recently dedicated a post to Rocco in April, when sheattended his art exhibitionin Miami — and commemorated the moment with a sweet show of support on Instagram.

Also in attendance at the exhibition were some of the star’s other children:David, 18,Mercy, 18, and 11-year-old twinsStella and Estere.

Madonna Attends Son Rocco’s New Art Exhibition

Earlier this year, Madonna opened up about all six of her kids — and how it feels to get them involved with her art and performances.

While speaking aboutthe end of her Celebration TourwithW. Magazinein April, the proud mom said, “When I go on tour,nothing brings me more happiness than to know we are all working on the same show, creating the magic together.”

“Of course, I am their mother so sometimes we get on each other’s nerves,” she added. “We are a family of artists but we are also a family, and that’s what happens.”
