As the man explains, he was in a relationship with Imogen for 12 years. “She was my first everything. I will openly admit I still do love Imogen, however she passed. Anna is my life, my future, my family,” he writes.
And although Anna likes the name Imogen, she was not happy when he suggested the name for their own child.
The man adds that his family members “are completely unhappy with me.”
“I told them the name I suggested and they’ve all lost it saying the timing was poor … I think it was a harmless suggestion as we both liked the name,” he writes.

Now, the man wants to know if he was in the wrong.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, commenters on the post seem to think so.
Adds another: “You are insisting that this was a ‘harmless suggestion’ when it clearly deeply hurt your wife at one of the most vulnerable moments of her life? Your suggestion in the first place was insensitive and extremely inappropriate.”
