Colin Farrell and Mark Hamill Share a Fun Moment Together

Two DC legends have come together — and fans are freaking out!

On Tuesday, Feb. 4,Mark Hamillrevealed in anInstagram postthat he andThe PenguinactorColin Farrellhad shared a fun moment together as he posted a photo of the pair that appeared to have been taken backstage at an event.

In the photo, the duo pointed at one another and smiled while dressed in black.

“And to think that this guy was your nemesis in Arkham City,” a third wrote.

Meanwhile, 2024 saw Farrell, 48, reprise his role as Gotham gangster the Penguin in the Max series of the same name. The Irish star, who first played the role in Matt Reeves' 2022 filmThe Batman, went on towin a Golden Globefor his performance in the series last month, taking home the trophy for best male actor in a limited or anthology series at the 2025 ceremony.

In his acceptance speech, Farrell thanked makeup artist Michael Marino for helping him undergo the huge physical transformation needed to play Oswald Cobblepot (the Penguin).

“All it took was three hours in the chair in the morning,” Farrell explained. “I drank black coffee, listened to ’80s music, and I became a canvas for that team’s brilliance.”

“I guess it’s prosthetics for here on out,” he added teasingly.

Farrell also opened up to PEOPLE in September 2024 about the transformation and how he wore a bodysuit that covered him from “wrist to ankle.” “Only things that were me were my hands and feet," he explained. “Everything else, including ears, were pieces. Everything was covered.”

The limited eight-episode series picked up after the events ofThe Batman, which starredRobert Pattinsonin the titular role.
