Mark Zuckerberg’s Wife Priscilla Chan Celebrates 40th Birthday with Big Bash (and Multiple Outfit Changes!)

Mark Zuckerberg’s wife Dr.Priscilla Chanrang in her 40th birthday in style — well,severalstyles to be exact!

On Monday, Feb. 24, Chan, a pediatrician who helps run the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative philanthropy, gave her followers on social media a glimpse into her birthday celebrations over the weekend.

The series of images started with a solo photo that showed Chan blowing out the candles on a massive birthday cake, which was sculpted to look like an ice bucket with a bottle of champagne sitting in it.

As she leaned toward the confection, she wore a white ball gown with plenty of sparkling embellishments — which was nowhere to be seen in the next pair of images, in which she donned a sleek black gown, which she accessorized with a pair of matching gloves and a contrasting shawl.

Chan’s final outfit from the post was neither black nor white but an eye-catching — and fiery — body-hugging dress. The picture captured a moment of pure happiness as she and Zuckerberg, also 40, appeared to be singing and dancing with their guests.

The tech mogul made sure to make a post of his own to honor Chan on her big day.

“Happy 40th birthday to my beloved Priscilla! Here’s to many more happy years ahead ❤️,” he captioned anInstagram Reel.

The clip consisted of a montage of videos of the couple throughout the years and began with him making a speech at a podium thanking her for coming into his life.

“That movie made it seem likeFaceMashwas so important to starting Facebook, it wasn’t,” Zuckerberg said in the video, referring to the 2010 historical dramaThe Social Network, which was based on how he created the social media platform while in college.

He continued, “But without FaceMash, I never would’ve met Priscilla and Priscilla is the most important person in my life.”

Zuckerberg and Chan met while they were students at Harvard University in 2003 and have since tied the knot and welcomed three children:daughters Maxima, August and Aureli.

In November 2023, the couple also celebrated another significant milestone: the20th anniversary of their first date.

“20 years since our first date,”Zuckerberg wrotein a Facebook post at the time. “We met at a going away party my friends threw for me in college when they thought I was about to get kicked out of school.”

Zuckerberg continued then: “I asked her out but told her we’d need to go out soon since I might only have a few days left. Later on I started Facebook, we got married, andnow have three wonderful girls. What a wild ride.”
