Martin Lawrence Says Eddie Murphy Told Him That He's 'Gotta Pay' for Their Kids' Wedding

Now we know who is footing the bill forJasmin LawrenceandEric Murphy’s big day!

During an appearance the Thursday, Dec. 5 episode of iHeartRadio’sBig Boy’s Neighborhood,Martin Lawrencesaid thatEddie Murphyis making him pay for their kids' wedding because theShrekstar has already paid for so many of his other children’s big days.

“Well, Eddie said I gotta pay for it,” Martin revealed on the radio show. “He said I gotta pay for it ‘cause he paid for his last daughter’s wedding, like the last six weddings.”

“He said it’s my turn now,” the comedian continued.

Eddie has 10 children — six daughters and four sons. He and his wife,Paige Butcher, share daughter Izzy Oona, 8, and son Max Charles, 6. He is also father to eight other children, including five with his ex-wife, Nicole Murphy — son Myles, 32, and daughters Bria, 35, Shayne, 30, Zola, 24, and Bella, 22. Murphy shares sons Eric, 35, and Christian, 34, with former partnersPaulette McNeely and Tamara Hood. Murphy also has a daughter named Angel, 17, with ex-girlfriendMel B.

Even though host Kurt Alexander, who is better known as “Big Boy,” pointed out that the weddings of Eddie’s other children have nothing to do with Martin, he said he doesn’t mind paying for the wedding.

He also shared that the newly engaged couple do not have a date for their wedding yet.

Eddie’s sonpopped the questionto Martin’s daughter on Nov. 27 in a room filled with candles and roses.

In a sweetvideoof the proposal, Eric gets down on one knee and opens a ring box, prompting Jasmin to say, “It’s beautiful. Oh my gosh,” before exclaiming“yes” and sharing a kiss with newly-minted fiancé.
