Meg Ryan’s style is timeless.

On March 2, the actress attended the2025 Oscars, and while her red carpet appearances are few and far in between, she delivered a classic, but sexy, look.

Her ensemble starred a strapless red-wine-colored velvet gown that showed a hint of skin with its strapless silhouette. Meanwhile, her towering platform heels were seen through her dress' daring thigh-high slit.

Ryan kept her glam rosy with blushed cheeks and a glossy berry lip, while rocking her signature crimped hairstyle.

The rom-com royalty actress attended the2024 Met Gala, her first time in 20 years. Ryan proved that she continues to bethatgirl in asheer-bodice Michael Kors gown. The black mermaid-style gown was embellished with a sparkling floral pattern.

The year’s Met Gala theme was “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” and theYou’ve Got Mailactress did just that with her classic look dotted with simple jewel embellishments and her signature blonde wavy lob hairstyle.

Ryan posed on the carpet for solo photos and alongside designer Michael Kors, 65. Her attendance at the annual gala also marked the promotion of her recent romantic comedyWhat Happens Laterthat she co-wrote and directed.

The movie follows a pair of ex-lovers who unexpectedly reunite for the first time in decades after a snowstorm leaves both Willa (Ryan) and Bill (David Duchovny) stuck at an airport overnight, according to a description of the movie from production company Bleecker Street.
