Megan Moroney Brings the Blues in Ultramarine Mermaid Gown and Matching Mani at CMA Awards 2024

Megan Moroneyis bringing the mermaid vibes to the 2024 CMA Awards!

The country star, 27, was a vision in blue as she hit the Nov. 20CMA Awardsin Nashville. She turned heads in a custom ultramarine Cristian Siriano strapless mermaid gown with a full organza skirt. Speaking on Hulu’s red carpet livestream, she described her look as “very blue and very sparkly.”

Paired with the bespoke design were Giuseppe Zanotti heels, statement rings and a bedazzled custom Edie Parker clutch with a nod to her albumAm I Okay?

Her royal blue manicure featured mismatched designs, like French tips and geometric nail art, but perfectly matched the bold color of her dress.

All in all, everything came together to represent the colors of Moroney’s latest record, which was released on July 12.

At last year’s CMA Awards, Moroney stunned in anoff-the-shoulder red gownwith a wide skirt that trailed behind her on the red carpet. She accessorized her ensemble with blingy necklaces and red heels featuring bows.

At the time, Moroney walked PEOPLE through herglam processwith Charlotte Tilbury.

She paired the Hollywood-esque look with a red lip and big Hollywood waves.

“With the drama of the red dress, I wanted to go full classic Hollywood glam with my hair in smooth waves, fresh glowy skin and a bold lip,” she told PEOPLE.

She brought this glamorous look to her first CMA Awards as a nominee, thanking her fans along the way.

“Headed to the carpet! I can’t believe how much my life has changed in a year and it’s all because of my fans. I love y’all,” she said.

On her Am I Okay? Tour this year, Moroney’s uniform has consisted of short dresses with flouncing skirts and cowboy boots.

Earlier this month, the singer dropped her Christmas debutBlue Christmas …duh, pairing it with anInstagram postfeaturing a royal blue seemingly velvet dress in a similar silhouette to her tour gowns. The dress featured a big blue bow on the bodice, and she paired it with white cowboy boots.

Her glam in the Christmas shoot was very glitzy, from the sparkly blue eyeshadow to the glowing lip gloss. Her hair was teased in a half-up hairstyle.

Moroney told PEOPLE earlier this year that hermusic career acceleratedin 2024, sharing how her second albumAm I Okay?differs from her first albumLucky.

“(Am I Okay?) sounds likeLucky’s cooler older cousin that can drink,” she said with a laugh, “and I think that just sonically, it feels more advanced. I wrote it with the intention of playing bigger venues. I’m touring nonstop, and the songs just feel more grown up. I think the emotions are more intense on this album thanLucky,“she said.

She shared that her career has been her priority over dating recently.

“I really don’t have time for it right now,” she added. “I tried dating for a second and then I quickly realized that now is not the time. I think in the album you get that vibe. The love songs were very short-lived!”

The 58th Annual CMA Awards broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on ABC. The show streams the following day on Hulu.
