Meghan Markle Gives Son Prince Archie a Kiss in Sweet Cookie-Making Video

ForMeghan Markle, making cookies is a “family affair.”

The Duchess of Sussex, 43, recentlybrought homemade thumbprint cookies for the audience ofThe Drew Barrymore Showwhen she appeared on the talk show this week, and she shared a behind-the-scenes look at the kitchen prep.

Posting the compilation video that aired on Barrymore’s show to her personal Instagram page, Meghan wrote, “When making thumbprint cookies at home becomes a family affair!”

The family’s dog Pula also makes an appearance, licking her lips as a mixer churns on the counter.

Although Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet mostly remain out of the public eye, the Duchess of Sussex has been sharing glimpses of her children since launching her new Instagram page at the start of 2025. On Valentine’s Day, Meghanshared videos of them making a holiday-themed breakfastwith red bagels and strawberries cut into hearts.

Lili also recentlyappeared in a photoon the website for Meghan’snew lifestyle brand, As ever.

In anexclusive interview with PEOPLE, Meghan says, “Being able to have my own little girl, as I’ve spent so much of my life championing the rights of girls and women, and to be able to see this as a multigenerational story — Archie is of course included in that, my husband is of course included in that — but I love the heritage feeling of it and knowing this is something that I can create in front of my daughter and teach her what it’s like to be a working mom. This is something that hopefully can be part of her legacy too."

Meghan also recruited some friends to pitch in for the cookie baking session: Alliance of Moms founder Kelly McKee Zajfen and Clare Waight Keller, who designed the bridal gown that Meghan wore in May 2018 for her royal wedding to Prince Harry.

“I said, ‘Clare, can I put you to work too?’ So we all sat around,” Meghan said onThe Drew Barrymore Show,telling the audience in the New York City studio,“We made these cookies for you guys to enjoy.”

“I just thought it’d be fun,” Meghan added, just before Barrymore told the crowd, “Meghan literally made cookies for all of you guys.”
