Melania Trumpis spreading doubt about what happened on the day her husband, former PresidentDonald Trump, wasshot at his Pennsylvania campaign rally.
Teasing her upcoming memoirMelania— which is set to release on Oct. 8, perThe Hollywood Reporter— the former first lady shared a video onX, hinting at a controversial topic that she implies will be covered in the book.
While a task force was set up toinvestigate the assassination attempt, Melania says she still has some questions.
As with most otherhigh-profile assassination attempts, numerous conspiracy theories began cropping up almost immediately after Donald was shot, largely centered around how the shooter was able to skirt Secret Service and miss the former president’s head so narrowly.

The new video is not the first time the former first lady hasspoken up about the assassination attempt. The day after the campaign rally, Melania posted a statement onXabout fearing for her family’s lives and her hopes for the future.
“When I watched that violent bullet strike my husband, Donald, I realized my life, andBarron’s life, were on the brink of devastating change,” she said in the statement. “I am grateful to the brave secret service agents and law enforcement officials who risked their own lives to protect my husband.”

Melaniararely weighs in on politicsand has remained largely out of public view during her husband’s presidential campaign. Her book promotion has brought her back into the spotlight through sporadic social media videos that suggest she will reveal new personal information in her memoir.
