Meteorologist Ginger Zee Has Epic Clap Back to Critic Who Says She's 'Not Aging Well'

TheGood Morning Americachief meteorologist replied to a recent social media comment that read, “You’re not aging well.” Zee, 44, replied: “What a privilege to be aging in any manner — thanks for your opinion though.”

The correspondent shared a screenshot of the exchange in a Tuesday, March 11, post on Threads, adding, “You know you are in a good place when you genuinely believe your response. And I do. What a privilege to be able to be alive.”

Zee concluded the caption with, “No matter how you perceive my aging, I’m proud of it.”

Zee previously replied to acomment about her weight.

In July 2021, the meteorologist posted avideo on Xbefore going on the ABC News stage. The video showed going from ripped jeans and a denim jacket to a striped dress and strappy high-heeled sandals.

An X ser responded: “Wish Hollywood would stop putting pressure on women to be this skinny.”

“Hmmm I rarely get called skinny (athletic more often) —have a BMI of around 21 — I would think this is about right for me :),” Zee said in reply. “I’ve weighed the same (barring pregnancy) for almost two decades. Definitely not Hollywood.”

Earlier that month, Zee shut down an anonymous X user who said she was “paid millions to read cue cards.”

“Can you please get me paid millions and no, I don’t read anything — I ad lib,” Zee wrote back. “I’m a scientist who talks about science — with no script.”

The X user then responded to her again, writing: “you’re a weather girl who looks good in a skirt.”

Zee wrote back a second time, saying: “Women can be scientists AND look good in a skirt,” she wrote. “I happen to be one of those women. Don’t project your anger and frustration on others without knowing the facts.”
