On Tuesday, Feb. 4, Jordan, 37, shared the trailer for Majors' upcoming filmMagazine Dreamsto hisInstagram Storiesand left two applause emojis and three fire emojis in a comment on the post.

For Majors, whose acting career stalled amid his2023 assault trial in New York City,Magazine Dreamsmakes for his first starring role since he costarred with Jordan in 2023’sCreed III. Majors, 35, portrayed a childhood friend of Jordan’s Adonis Creed character who re-emerges after leaving prison in the thirdCreedfilm, which also functioned as Jordan’s directorial debut.

Majors started 2023 with what appeared to be star-making roles inCreed, Marvel’sAnt-Man and the Wasp QuantumaniaandLokias well asMagazine Dreams, which initially premiered at the 2023Sundance Film Festival. Majors’arrest in N.Y.C. in March 2025over an alleged altercation with ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari quickly put his career’s future in question.

In a split verdict, Majors wasfound guilty of two charges: misdemeanor assault in the third degree, recklessly causing physical injury as well asharassment in the second degree, which is a violation. The actor was found not guilty of misdemeanor assault in the third degree with intent to cause physical injury and misdemeanor aggravated harassment in the second degree.

The actor wassentenced to participate in a domestic violence treatment programin April 2024 following his December 2023 conviction. The actor was also fired fromhis role in the Marvel Cinematic Universeas the villain Kang the Conqueror, who was originally intended to feature in the next twoAvengersfilms.

Jordan and Majors appeared to grow close while makingCreed III, with Majorsreferring to Jordan as his “brother"in interviews and when he paid tribute to his costar at Jordan’sHollywood Walk of Fame star ceremonyin March 2023, weeks before Majors' arrest. Jordan, in turn,suggested Majors should have been a candidate for PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Aliveduring the pair’s appearance onSherriwhile promoting that movie.

InMagazine Dreams, Majors portrays an aspiring bodybuilder named Killian Maddox. “He lives a lonely, regimented life, and his relentless drive for perfection only pushes him deeper towards self-destruction,” reads an official synopsis for the movie. “But beneath his tenacious pursuit of superstardom lies a desperate, aching need for human connection.”
