Mick Jagger and Girlfriend Melanie Hamrick Make Rare Public Appearance at Star-Studded Pre-Oscars Dinner

Mick JaggerandMelanie Hamrickare spending some time with the stars!

TheRolling Stonesfrontman, 81, and his longtime girlfriend, 37, stepped out for a rare public appearance on Saturday, March 1, to attend Chanel and Charles Finch’s annual pre-Oscarsdinner in Beverly Hills.

The couple made the awards season event — which was held at The Beverly Hills Hotel’s iconic Polo Lounge — a date night, cuddling up to each other on the red carpet before later mingling with the swirl of Oscar nominees, industry professionals and other celebrities.

Hamrick, meanwhile, went a bit more formal for the pre-Oscars event, wearing a strapless black midi dress, which she accessorized with a dainty, silver Chanel belt. She topped off the simple but chic look with a pair of clear and black heels.

The author and former ballerina also added a pop of color — and complemented her rocker beau’s dinner look — with a glossy, fuchsia lip.

Jagger first met Hamrick in Tokyo in early 2014, when the American Ballet Theatre and The Rolling Stones were both on tour in the Japanese capital. Their relationship didn’t become romantic, however, until later that summer, when the rock icon invited the dancer to join him for his band’s stop in Zurich.

The pair thenwelcomeda son — Jagger’s youngest,Deveraux Octavian Basil— in 2016. (The “Beast of Burden” rocker hasseven other children: Karis, Jade, Elizabeth, James, Georgia May, Lucas and Gabriel.)

Despite their high-profile relationship, Hamrick does not share much about Jagger publicly, instead sticking tosharing photosof 8-year-old Deveraux and her dance work.

She has, however, shared a bit about their relationship in the press, including addressing their 44-year age gap — which Hamricksaid she “doesn’t think about.”

Addressing the decades between them while chatting withThe Timeslast fall, the author said, “Everyone’s going to have their opinion. If you think about others’ opinions, no matter where you are in life, you’re going to have a problem and you’re going to analyze it.”
