A New York City woman has been found dead inside a suitcase, four days after she was reported missing to police.Pamela Alcantara, 26, was pronounced dead after her body was found off the northbound side of the Saw Mill River Parkway near the Palmer Road exit at the border of Yonkers and the Bronx on Thursday, March 6,ABC 7reported.She was last seen around 2 a.m. local time at her home on Morris Avenue in the Bronx on Sunday, March 2, according toFOX 5 New York.When she never made it to church on Sunday, family members reported her missing and plastered posters around the neighborhood, ABC 7 andNBC New Yorkreported.New York Police Department detectives had been conducting an investigation of a missing female from 2200 Morris Ave. at the time Alcantara was found and pronounced dead at the scene, according toNews 12 The Bronx.Her ex-boyfriend is currently being questioned while in custody at the 46th precinct but no one has yet been charged, per ABC 7.Alcantara’s aunt Isa Peguero and cousin Naysa Peguero told the news outlet that they had arranged a place for Alcantara to live, as she was in the process of moving out of the home she shared with her boyfriend of around three years.
