For the first time,Molly-Mae Hagueis shedding light on what precededher bombshell splitfromTommy Furythis past summer.

In a new interview withBritish Vogue, the 25-year-oldLove Island UKalum said that the breakup — which she announced on her Instagram Stories in August — “was a bit of a shock” as she revealed that the “circumstances” were particularly challenging.

“I didn’t want what happened to happen,” she said, reiterating that she “wanted to get married to Tommy, one hundred percent, and that would never have changed.”

They had even picked out a date and planning was in full force at the time of the split, Hague revealed. “I wanted to get married next September and it’s very hard when it’s kind of taken away."

While she insisted she “will always have a lot of love and respect” for the boxer, 25, she said it’s “a really deep situation” and it’s “really sad.”

“No one will ever really know what went down apart from Tommy and I, and that’s how we’d like to keep it, for Bambi’s sake," she said of the actual circumstances that led to the split while referring tothe couple’s one-and-a-half-year-old daughter.

She does, though, think Fury “will talk about things eventually,” as she seemingly hinted to the outlet that the breakup was a result of something on his end.

“I do think that when he’s ready, like, maybe more will be said. But I think that’s for him to do on his terms,” she said. “It’s not like it’s gossip. It’s real life.”

For now, their focus is on co-parenting, and Hague said they’re “both being really mature about it.”

Fury has similarly said that Bambi is the couple’s main priority and because of her, the details of the split will always be fuzzy to the public.
