'Multiple' Family Members, Including Children, Found Dead Inside Home Following Call About Possible Suicide

Deputies from the King County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a possible suicide at a Fall City, Wash., residence around 5 a.m., the sheriff’s office confirms to PEOPLE.

The office says after police arrived at the scene, they soon realized it was a “homicide investigation with multiple deaths.”

“It is looking like a possible domestic violence situation with no danger to the public,” the sheriff’s office says.

The office confirms that the victims include both juveniles and adults but are not specifying the number of victims or their ages. The victims are understood to be family members, per police.

Police have not commented on the motive behind the killings or the causes of death for the victims.

One person from the residence is assisting detectives and at least one person was taken to the hospital, per police. It wasn’t immediately clear if either of those people was the suspect.

An investigation is ongoing.
