My New Year’s resolution started early when I decided last fall that I wanted to run a half marathon. Now that we’re officially in 2025, not only am I taking my running plan extra seriously, but I’m also making sure I have all of thegear needed to trainover the next few months.

There are a few qualifications I look for when picking out a pair of leggings. Not only do I want them to be supportive and comfortable, but I also need them to stay up during activity, provide enough stretch, and wick away moisture when doing more intense workouts. I could tell the moment I put these on that they would become a mainstay in my collection.

The high-rise elastic waistband offers the exact amount of support I prefer, yet the material is stretchy enough so it doesn’t feel restrictive. The pants are extremely moisture-wicking and breathable, so they’ve been ideal to wear even during long outdoor workouts on warm days. Plus, they come in multiple colors and are on sale in white, pink, blue, navy, and gray.

In addition to the way these feel when worn, these leggings also have a few additional features that have made them my new favorites for working out. They have two deep side pockets that can hold my phone, keys, and credit cards without adding bulk or discomfort.
