The One Chicago worlds are about to merge!
A crossover event is coming forChicago P.D.,Chicago MedandChicago Fire, PEOPLE can confirm. The event marks the first time the trio of shows are having a crossover in over five years.
The last time all three shows crossed over was in 2019, and saw the units come together when a deadly bacteria was spreading in Chicago. There have also been crossover episodes in 2016 and 2018.
Between the pandemic and last year’s SAG-AFTRA strike, there’s been a five-year gap since the last major crossover moment brought all three worlds together.

This time last year,Chicago P.D.saw a big change asTracy Spiridakos was confirmed to be departing the show after seven yearsfollowing the end of season 11.
She bid farewell to her character, Detective Hailey Upton, in the May finale, andtold PEOPLE she was “definitely feeling all the feelings” about her last episode airing.
“It was a very, very difficult decision,” she said. “I love this cast and this crew so much. I could get emotional talking about it, but I’ve been with the show for about seven and a half years-ish, and I honestly just kind of wanted to see what else is out there for me and switch it up a little bit. That was really the only thing. I just felt like it was time to see what else was there.”
