On Dec. 18, the actor shared a photo on his Instagram Stories standing next to his lit up Christmas tree. The 30-year-old’s massive physical transformation was striking; his defined muscles were visible under his long-sleeved white t-shirt. He was also sporting black shorts and a longer hairstyle.

Galitzine first announced onInstagramthat he landed the role of He-Man in May after several actors were previously linked to the role, including Kyle Allen andNoah Centineo.

“By the Power of Greyskull, I HAVE THE POWER,” Galitzine wrote at the time. “I’m so beyond proud to announce that I will be playing Adam, Prince of Eternia in ‘Masters of the Universe’. It has been a dream for so long to play someone of his heart, humour and heroism, I cannot wait to get started.”

Nicholas Galitzine Shows Off Huge Muscle Gains for He-Man

“We’re thrilled to bring the beloved ‘Masters of the Universe’ to life and couldn’t be more excited to announce the immensely talented Nicholas Galitzine as our He-Man,” said Julie Rapaport, head of film production and development at Amazon MGM Studios,Varietyreported. “This reintroduction of the character and his universe will be an epic film that will delight audiences from here to Eternia.”

The film is based on the popular Mattel action figure line that inspired the 1980s animated seriesHe-Man and the Masters of the Universe.The franchise has since expanded to include the spin-off seriesShe-Ra: Princess of Powerand the live-action 1987 filmMasters of the Universe, among other projects.

TheMasters of the Universefilm is expected to hit theaters June 5, 2026.
