Nicole Kidman Blows Kisses to Fans at Balenciaga's Paris Show, Her First Appearance Since Mother's Death

Nicole Kidmanis all smiles at Paris Fashion Week.

On Monday, September 30, the actress arrived at the Balenciaga womenswear spring/summer 2025 runway show in a chic all-black look. She waved and blew kisses to fans who showed her some extra love following the recentdeath of her mother.

Upon arrival to the show, thePerfect Coupleactress blew kisses and flashed hearts to spectators.

Earlier this year, Kidman attended Balenciaga’s Haute Couture fall/winter 2024-2025 alongside her 15-year-old daughter,Sunday Rose. The mother-daughter duo looked chic in coordinating black outfits.Naomi WattsandMaya Rudolphalso brought their teenage children to the stylish event.

Last year, Kidman was named one of Balenciaga’s newest ambassadors.

“Balenciaga has been with me through some of the most memorable events in my life, from my wedding to the Oscars red carpet,” Kidman shared at the time, adding that she looks forward to “creating more memories together.”

Kidman appearance this week marks her first since the death of her mother, Janelle Ann Kidman.

In the statement, the Australian actress wrote that she had flown in to Venice, only to find out “shortly after that my beautiful, brave mother, Janelle Ann Kidman, has just passed.”

“I’m in shock and I have to go to my family, but this award is for her. She shaped me, she guided me and she made me. I am beyond grateful that I get to say her name to all of you through Halina,” the director continued, reading Kidman’s statement. “The collision of life and art is heartbreaking, and my heart is broken.”
