Nicole Kidman's Daughter Sunday Rose Urban, 16, Steps Into the Spotlight and People Are Very Surprised by Her Accent

Sunday Rose Kidman Urbanhas made her runway debut — and some commenters can’t get over how different her accent is from her mom’s.

“Hi my name is Sunday Rose Kidman Urban and this is my first show,” the 16-year-old says in a video posted tothe outlet’s Instagram. “We’re at the Miu Miu show in Paris.”

“We did some shopping, because how could you not come to Paris and not shop,” Sunday Rose shares as she describes what she’s been up to in France. “I’ve been wanting to do this for so long and so when the offer came through, it was really exciting. And now the day is finally here!”

“Her accent! A southern drawl mixed with a twinge of Australian. What a mix,” another said.

Sunday Rose was born in Nashville, Tenn., and has lived there with her parents and sister Faith, 13, since she was young. Kidman, who grew up in Australia, has commented on her daughter’s accent in the past, saying that it’s an interesting mix.

“My daughters are Nashvillians! They have a southern drawl,” Kidman told PEOPLE in 2016. “They have some Aussie. They have an unusual mix. They’re hybrids.”

In aVogue Australiainterview published on Aug. 2, thePerfect Couplestarspoke withVictoria Beckhamabout taking Sunday to herfirst-ever fashion showearlier this year.

“She’s about to turn 16,” Kidman said. “That’s what I told her, when she was 16 she was allowed to come to a show. She’s wanted to go for a long time.”

She continued, “That was her foray into it, and that was it. I’m like, ‘No, no more.’ It’s a push-pull. I don’t want to hold her back because I don’t want to be coddling her.”
