Pete Davidson Shocked to Find Enormous Fish Tank He Doesn't Remember Ordering Before Rehab Installed in Home

Pete Davidsonhad quite the surprise waiting for him at home when he returned from a four-month-long stint in rehab.

The 31-year-oldDog Manactor opened up about the newest addition to his abode during a Feb. 6 interview onLate Night with Seth Meyers. He confirmed that he had “moved into the woods” afterlisting his New York City home for $1.3 million in 2022and relocating to Upstate New York.

“Not a lot of us predicted you in the woods,” Meyers, 51, joked during their conversation, to which Davidson replied: “I know. My neighbors are very confused.”

When asked if he’s gotten any pets since moving Upstate, theSaturday Night Livealum responded that he’s “allergic to all pets that would bring me happiness, but I got a big fish tank.”

“I went to rehab for four months, came back [and] that was just in the living room,” he revealed, after Meyers showed a photo of the “hilarious” 150-gallon, professionally installed tank in his living room.

“I think I made that decision when I wasn’t really paying attention,” Davidson joked.

TheKing of Staten Islandstar also joked that he may not have made a great decision when it comes to the location of the tank in his home.

“It’s awkward because that’s where the front door is. So I have to warn people like, don’t open the door because you’ll break it,” he said. “It’s the worst place for an aquarium.”

Although Davidson admits that his built-in tank isn’t quite as large asfellowSNLalum Tracy Morgan’s 500-gallon aquariumat his New Jersey mansion, he says he’s pretty sure “I could get in there.”

Although Davidson hasn’t revealed the location of his home, Martha Stewart shared in April 2023 that he was house hunting in the Bedford, New York, area alongside his then-girlfriendChase Sui Wondersafter hepaid a visit to her famed farm.

“Pete’s looking for a house in my neighborhood,” Stewart toldAccess Hollywoodat the time. “So he came over to see my farm and understand what it was like to live in and around Bedford.”

“He had such a nice time; came up to the house and chatted for a while,” Stewart shared, adding, “He seems very happy.”

PEOPLE confirmed in June 2023 that Davidsonchecked into rehabto receive in-patient therapy and address issues related to post-traumatic stress disorder andborderline personality disorder.

“Pete will often check himself into rehab to work on these issues,” a source close to Davidson said at the time. “His friends and family have been supportive.”

A year later, in July 2024, an insider told PEOPLE that the comedian hadchecked into a wellness facilityfor mental health treatment.

At the time, the insider added that mental health has “always been a priority for Davidson” and that he was continuing tofocus on his sobriety.
