Phoebe Dynevoris revealing whether she’d ever return toBridgerton.
The actress, 29, teased a possible return to the hit Netflix series while promoting her latest film,Inheritance.She toldThe Directthat while filming is underway forBridgerton’s upcoming season, she hasn’t been asked to make an appearance.
“I mean, they’ve not called me yet,” Dynevor said. “And I think they’re shooting season 4 right now. So, I’m still waiting for that call.”

From playing the elegant Daphne Bridgertonto the daughter of an international spy inInheritance,Dynevor says that versatility is part of what she enjoys about her job.
“I love that,” she shares. “That’s the joy of acting is getting to play different roles and have new adventures. I feel like I’m always wanting to challenge myself, and this film particularly felt like such a challenge and so the opposite of what I’ve been used to.”
“Like, filming guerilla-style and no editing, really, you had to be on it all the time,” she adds, referring to the film being shot entirely on an iPhone. “So yeah, I’m drawn to a challenge.”
Explaining that she resonates with the characters she plays, Dynevor says she takes pieces of each role into her own life.
“You learn lessons from your characters,” she says. “I mean, it’s the joy of acting, that you get to also learn lessons from your character’s mistakes.”

In addition to all her success on screen, Dynevor is also celebrating a milestone in her personal life: herengagement to actor Cameron Fuller. Now, Dynevor is telling PEOPLE how she defines “healthy love.”
“Friendship. I think that friendship is the main component,” she shares, adding that they “have no plans yet” for their wedding.

Dynevor rose to fame with her starring role in season 1 ofBridgerton,which ended with Daphne getting herhappily ever afterwith Simon (Regé-Jean Page). Season 2 focused on her brother Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and his love story, but Dynevor made several appearances throughout the season, helping her brother through his own relationship woes and offering fans the first glimpse of her son, Augie.
Dynevor later confirmed that she would notbe reprising her roleas the duchess in the third season, instead going on to focus on other projects.
