Prince Joachim and Princess Marie of Denmark Share a Selfie from Prince Harry’s Invictus Games

Joachim and Marie moved to the U.S. in the summer of 2023 for the prince to start a new job at the Danish Embassy under the Ministry of Defense. They couple made the transatlantic move one year after Prince Joachim’s mother,Queen Margrethe,stripped his four kidsof the prince and princess titles they had inherited at birth in a surprise step she later described as “necessary future-proofing of the monarchy.” Joachim later toldThe Washington Postthat “We’ve moved on,” and has embraced a new chapter in the states.
