Richard Gere's Wife Alejandra Silva Celebrates His 75th Birthday: 'You Make My Life Better in Every Way'

Richard Gere’s wife is celebrating his life!

On Saturday, Aug. 31, Alejandra Silva penneda sweet tributeon Instagram to her husband on his 75th birthday.

Sharing a snap of the duo, the Spanish publicist, 41 wrote, “Happy Birthday to the love of my life!”

Silva added, “Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and happiness together. With all my love, Ale.”

In the photos, people were pictured clapping as thePretty Womanactor stood on a table.

The star also celebrated with a birthday cake that read, “Happy Birthday Richard.”

The new snaps come after Gere and Silva attended theamfARGaladuring the 81st Venice International Film Festivalon Sunday, Sept. 1, where Gere was honored with amfAR’s Award of Inspiration.

Wearing a classic tuxedo with a black bowtie, Gere looked adoringly at his wife as they posed on the red carpet.

Silva also dressed up for the occasion in a sheer dress with large shimmering navy blue flowers, dangling earrings and matching heels.

TheShall We Dance?star, who shares son Alexander, 5, and a 3-year-old son (whose name has not been made public) with Silva, was also photographed bowing down to his leading lady on the red carpet.

Gere and Silva — who is also mother to 9-year-old sonAlbertfrom a previous marriage — tied the knot in 2018 after four years of dating.
