Rihannais getting real about rediscovering her personal style now that she’s settling into motherhood with two toddlers.
In the March cover story forHarper’s Bazaar’s"The Legacy" issue, the singer, 37, spoke about some of the sartorial challenges she’s faced in postpartum after welcoming hersons, RZA, 2½, and Riot, 18 months, withA$AP Rocky.
“I feel like getting dressed is a fight on its own [now],” she said in the interview published on Saturday, Feb. 22. “Everything is so … logical," she continued. “What makes sense? What’s easy? What’s fast? I try not to overthink all that stuff, but you’re leaving the house. It kind of stops you from going out.”
She also said that she contemplates how much “energy” she wants to put into dressing up and getting glam. “You go through a fog. And fashion is so much fun, and I miss the fun.”

In addition to her style changes, Rihanna has also opened up about thehair loss she struggled with after giving birth. “I didn’t expect it to happen in waves. I thought it would just happen and grow back,” the Grammy winner said while speaking with Refinery29 at a Fenty Hair event in June 2024.
She added that the side effect was “not on the pamphlet” for post-pregnancy, during which she began losing hair in patches. “At that point you’re just like alright enough isenough.”
