Rihanna Shares She 'Didn't Drink All Year' in Celebratory 2025 Post: 'New Year, New Me'

Rihannahas sobriety on the brain in 2025!
The 36-year-old singer revealed that she abstained from alcohol for all of 2024 as she shared her countdown into the New Yearon Instagram.
In the clip, which the Fenty designer posted on Wednesday, Jan. 1, Rihanna and some friends were shown shouting out the end-of-year countdown as she held up a phone showing theannual ball dropin New York City’s Times Square.
After ringing in 2025, Rihanna declared, “Y’all, I didn’t drink all year! I didn’t drink all year.”

The liquor cabinet wasn’t the only thing cleaned out this year. Rihanna alsoshared a videoof herself goofing off with a friend while using her Fenty Hair shampoo to properly clean a hair extension.
“You owe me a new bottle!” Rihanna could be heard telling her friend in the clip. “For one stinkin’ track!”

Rihanna welcomed the New Year in New York City with her boyfriendA$AP Rocky, with whom she shares sons,RZA, 2½, andRiot, 17 months.
Back in October,she opened up to PEOPLEabout her go-to uniform to parent her two energetic boys.
“Anything that’s cozy, anything that’s stretchy, anything that’s easy to bend down and pick my kids up in. Those are the things I look for,” she told PEOPLE at the time. “Things that don’t scratch me, don’t scratch them. We’ve got a lot of work to do in a day of a life of a mom.”
“I don’t have any contribution when my sons get dressed,” he told PEOPLE in December. “Sometimes she dresses them like me with kilts and all of that, but that’s all they moms, man. She got good style and taste.”
