Rosie O’Donnellwants the best for her daughter Chelsea O’Donnell in the wake of her arrest.
PEOPLE confirmed on Tuesday, Dec. 3, that Rosie’s oldest daughter was arrested in Wisconsin’s Marinette County on Nov. 18 on two felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, a felony count of possession of narcotic drugs and two felony counts of bail jumping.
The 27-year-oldmother of fouralso faces four misdemeanor charges for resisting or obstructing a police officer, possession of an illegally obtained prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest marks Chelsea’s third in the last three months. On Sept. 10 and Oct. 11, Chelseawas arrested on charges related to drug possession, as well as felony child neglect,in the state of Wisconsin, PEOPLE confirmed at the time.

Chelsea posted a $2,000 bond on Sept. 24 and was released from Marinette County Jail, but she was booked into Oconto County Jail the following month. She faces felony counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic drugs and bail jumping and misdemeanor counts of resisting or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia — all of which are similar charges to her Nov. 18 arrest.
On Nov. 26, Chelsea pleaded not guilty to charges related to her Sept. 10 arrest during a preliminary hearing and arraignment. A preliminary hearing and arraignment has been scheduled for Dec. 11 in relation to the Nov. 18 arrest. She is next due in court on Jan. 27, 2025.
In October, the O’Donnell family, released the following statement to PEOPLE: “Sadly, this is not new for our family. Chelsea has struggled with drug addiction for a decade — we are all hopeful she will find her way out of this deadly disease.”

Rosie’sstruggles with Chelseahave been public for almost a decade. In August 2015, Chelsea went missing for one week before being found after one week at the house of 25-year-old alleged heroin addictSteven Sheerer.
“Chelsea, like millions of people, lives with mental illness,” a rep for Rosie said at the time said. “It has been a difficult road for Chelsea and her family and they just want her back safe. [Rosie and Chelsea] have a good relationship. Rosie loves Chelsea very much.”
Rosieadopted Chelseawith her ex-wifeKelli Carpenter, with whom she also adopted sons Parker and Blake and daughter Vivienne. The comedian also shares daughter Dakota withher second wife,Michelle Rounds.
