Some might say I have an unhealthyobsession with blazers, but seriously, how could I not?

AndSandra Bullockis fueling it even more: Last week, the actress reunited with herSpeedco-star, Keanu Reeves,to celebrate the 30-year anniversary of the film’s release— and they were even matching. The two were dressed head-to-toe in monochrome ’fits topped off with black blazers — the jacket that has single-handedly ruined all other outerwear for me.

Jennifer Lawrence,Gwyneth Paltrow,Laura Dern, andHeidi Klumhave also brought out the classic layer this year, showcasing their truly wide scope. Lawrence wore hers for a typical day’s activities, while Paltrow picked it out for a star-studded event ahead of the Oscars.

You don’t have an event like the Oscars to go to? Trust me, there’s always somewhere to wear a black blazer. I’ve used one to elevate jeans and tank tops for casual brunches, but I also recently juxtaposed a gauzy gown with one at my sister’s fancy rehearsal dinner when it got cold. Pairing a blazer with skirts and shorts is fun, too, and it balances out the amount of skin showing.

If you haven’t yet heard about Na-kd, l’m honored to introduce you. I first started shopping at the brand a few years ago, and now, I practically shop its drops like clockwork. It’s also the first place I’ll go when I need a new black blazer since the one I religiously wear is from here.

This isn’t the same one I have, but it also has the one divisive detail that I’m so fond of: padded shoulders. No, they’re not like they were in the 80s, but they do keep the jacket from sagging or hanging weirdly on my shoulders. I also think it amplifies its fierceness.

Any brand dubbed one ofOprah’s favoritesis automatically a friend of mine. I own a few other pieces from the brand, including a crewneck, bra, and pair of jeans, and they’re all exceptionally comfortable, so I’m banking on this blazer being the same. And one shopper said it “has enough stretch for movement,” so that’s only helping its case.

I’m not signing off on a new topper any time soon, but, at times, my main gripe with my current situation is that I can’t wash it at home. I wear it a lot, and I don’t want to spend all my time at the dry cleaners. That’s why I’m thrilled that this one can be cleaned at home. Plus, it’s a whopping $119 off. Finding a high-quality pick like this for under $50? It’s unheard of.
